Miley Cyrus’s new video “We Can’t Stop” debuted Wednesday, and it’s almost certain that her dad Billy Ray won’t be too happy with it.

The bizarre video, which is the first single from her upcoming album that will be released later this year, features Cyrus in several provocative positions and even has her slapping another female on the behind.  One scene shows her grabbing another female’s breast.  In addition to the sexuality of the former Disney pop princess, the video shows a lot of strange stuff, such as fingers being cut off a fake hand, smoke coming out from her pants and Cyrus making out with a doll version of herself.

While some viewers think Cyrus is just trying to show more of her adult side since she will be turning 21 in November, most people thought it was weird and some even called it “insane” and “shocking” in the comments.  A lot of users were less than happy with her all over a shirtless man who wasn’t fiancé Liam Hemsworth in the video.  The video has over 40,000 views so far, and Cyrus is encouraging all of her fans to watch the video multiple times so she’ll have a chance of breaking a record.  Cyrus hopes to break 11 million views in 24 hours from when the video was released.

“We Can’t Stop” is Cyrus’s first single released in the past three years.  Her last studio album “Can’t Be Tamed” was released when she was 17, so she is looking to show everyone that she has matured a little bit over the past few years.  Cyrus is trying to distance herself from her past albums and said that she wants “to start as a new artist.”  Cyrus also said, “I consider my upcoming album my first, really. My last record I feel so disconnected from–I was 16 or 17 when I made it. When you’re in your 20s, you just don’t really know that person anymore.”

In addition to trying to make herself seem older, Cyrus recently talked to “Rolling Stone” about her stance on drugs and alcohol, which made it obvious that she is really trying to break away from the Hannah Montana identity.  “I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana.  I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed,” Cyrus said.  While Cyrus didn’t come out and say that she smokes marijuana in the interview, a video was released of her with a bong back in 2010.
