Former child star Amanda Bynes seems to have finally snapped.

The troubled actress, who has had a very public meltdown, reportedly lunged at a fan requesting a photograph. The incident, which occurred during a stop in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is the latest incident for Bynes.

The incident was reported by RadarOnline, which noted that Bynes was wearing her famous blonde wig, which reeked of alcohol. Once spotted, the fan and his father attempted to snap a photo of Bynes, a move that reportedly led to Bynes lunging for the camera. Securit was eventually called and Bynes was urged to leave the premises.

The incident comes as Bynes seems to have caused concern among her fans and close friends, many of whom have urged the former child star to seek help. The actress has lashed out at friends on Twitter and was in court last month for possession of marijuana.  Some has questioned her mental health a she lashed out at Miley Cyrus and Drake, saying the pair were “ugly.” Bynes also received criticism for saying Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna because she is not pretty enough.

It remains unclear whether the series of incidents is a call for help, or, rather as Bynes contends, it’s simply a publicity stunt. In a series of tweets posted by Bynes’ agent, the former child star defended her actions, saying they it is a simple ploy to drum up support for her fledgling career.

While the series of incidents may be seen as a publicity ploy, Bynes may be mistaken for keeping the act going. The starlet took to Twitter on Saturday to slam followers, saying it is not worth listening to “ugly” individuals. Bynes also sent out a strange set of tweets on Friday, saying she would never marry a German man because of her background in Judaism.
