Paris Jackson dispatch call released

The 911 phone call is released.

A newly released emergency dispatch audio from the Los Angeles County Fire Department is providing a glimpse into what exactly happened on the morning Paris Jackson tried to commit suicide.

According to E! Online, the 911 recording on June 5 features a woman telling a dispatcher that a “female OD’d on 20 Motrin and cut her arm with a kitchen knife” and provided the address of her Calabasas residence. The woman also told the dispatcher that the 15-year-old daughter of the late King of Pop was awake and breathing prior to being rushed to the hospital.

An investigation into Paris’ well-being is currently underway, as reported by The Chicago Tribune. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff, who is overseeing the guardianship of Michael Jackson’s children, has told an investigator to write up a report that touches upon the status of Paris’ health, education and welfare.

Last week after the suicide attempt, Katherine Jackson’s attorney Perry Sanders said that Paris was “physically fine.”

This past weekend Paris was transferred from Children’s Hospital to UCLA Medical Center and she is reportedly doing well. A source close to the Jackson family told E! News on Monday, “She is doing much better. The whole experience scared the hell out of her. If it’s possible that there is one, then this is the silver lining that has come out of this horrible situation. She now knows she has got to concentrate on looking after herself.”

Paris will likely be released from the medical center by Friday, as her cousin Taj Jackson is getting married on Sunday.

But of course once Paris is released from the medical center, she will have a lot of things to sort out.

“She knows she has some big decisions to make,” the source told E! News. “Paris and the whole family are working out how they can move forward from this. Clearly there are some big issues that need to be sorted. Paris knows that she has a lot of work to do, she is the person that needs to deal with the issues she is personally facing.”

One of these issues will probably be her guardianship, as her suicide attempt happened under the care of her 83-year-old grandmother Katherine Jackson, who is her co-guardian with her cousin T.J. Jackson. Paris’ biological mother Debbie Rowe has revealed that she is ready to step in if her daughter wants her to become her legal guardian but is not looking to take Katherine’s custody rights away, according to the New York Daily News.
