Justin Bieber’s Instagram shows him lurking in the dark

Bieber posts a photo of himself to Instagram.

When he’s not speeding down the streets of his gated community, Justin Bieber is posting pictures on his social media websites.

The most recent one that’s drawing attention is a photo he posted on Instagram Monday night after attending a Los Angeles Kings hockey game. E! Online reports the singer showed a mysterious side of himself by posing in the dark, in which you can barely see his entire face, with a caption that read “My vision is enormous.”

The picture is a far cry from his previous ones, which have been quite visible. Last month, the 19-year-old posted a photo of himself snuggling up next to his on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez. He also posted a picture of himself shirtless and working on his computer, while Gomez is seen clinging to his back with the caption reading, “‘You’ve been makin music for too long babe come cuddle’ -her.” And of course who could forget the picture of a shirtless cartoon version of himself in bed with a topless girl labeled as a “Belieber.”

More recently, he was seen taking advantage of the 18-year-old drinking age in South Africa as he posed, alongside a friend, holding a can of beer. Bieber was there as part of his Believe tour.

On the topic of social media, Bieber returned to Twitter on Tuesday after about a week hiatus. He explained why he took a break, tweeting, ” Hi. U guys miss me on here. Just needed to take some time to myself.” He surely made up for the time, wishing singer Nathan Sykes well as he recovers from throat surgery, sending good luck to Cody Simpson on his upcoming tour, promoting the movie “After Earth” and personally responding to some of his fans.

While it may look all fun and games on Bieber’s social media accounts, he is currently under investigation for reckless driving. On Monday, TMZ reported that police received calls from neighbors complaining that Bieber was driving in his Ferrari at a “startling high rate of speed” within his Calabasas gated community. When cops arrived on the scene, he refused to speak with them on the matter.

One of Bieber’s pals and longtime mentors Usher appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday and expressed that he thinks Bieber is just going through a transitional phrase and will mature as he gets older, according to the New York Daily News.

He told DeGeneres, “I am hoping for the best. I don’t look at it as a negative, though. I look at it as a teenager—a teenager having to live his life in front of a camera.”
