Pitt says he is done doing sex scenes.
Over the years we have seen Brad Pitt in sex scenes in movies such as “Meet Joe Black,” “Thelma and Louise” and of course “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” where he got steamy with future wife Angelina Jolie. But his days having sex are over, at least onscreen.
A close friend of the actor, Frank Pollaro, revealed to Esquire magazine in an interview that fans of the 49-year-old Hollywood hunk shouldn’t expect to see him making love to any women, besides Jolie, in his future movie roles.
“This is a guy who has tried not to do any sexy scenes with other women since he’s met Angelina,” Pollaro told Esquire. “He’s crazy about her, and she’s the same way about him.”
This means all Pitt’s romantic and sexy scenes will be taking place at home, which might not go over well with his 8-year-old daughter Zahara.
“Once I walked in and Angie was standing there and Zahara walked up and said, ‘Daddy, you’re not going to start making out with Mommy again, are you?’ And it’s like that,” Pollaro told the magazine.
Pitt’s may be taking a lesson from his past in his decision to avoid doing sex scenes onscreen. His almost five year marriage to Jennifer Aniston ended in the midst of speculation that he and Jolie became an item while filming the 2005 film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” The speculation has since been proved true, as Jolie has said in 2008 that they feel in love on the set.
Speaking of his relationship with Aniston, US Weekly reports that another person close to Pitt told Esquire that Pitt cared about her but was drawn to Jolie’s zest for life.
“I think Brad was ready to soar when he met Angie,” Jean Black, a makeup artist and friend who has worked with actor since 1990, told Esquire. “This is not to say anything negative about Jennifer. I was part of that and I know that he and Jennifer are very good friends and he cared deeply for her.”
Black continued saying, “But in Angie he saw a very adventurous person who was grabbing on to life and taking it to its nth degree. It was intriguing because I felt Brad had that in him and wanted to unleash it.”
While Pitt has reportedly vowed to stop filming sex scenes, Jolie hasn’t filmed one since “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”
