Beyonce has been quite busy lately taking care of her 16-month-old daughter Blue Ivy, working on a new album, voicing the character of Queen Tara in the upcoming animated movie “Epic” and traveling the globe with her Mrs. Carter World Tour. Her nonstop and persistent work ethic was sure to take a toll on her body at same point, as even celebrities are human and need some time to relax.

CNN reports that the 31-year-old singer has canceled her Tuesday performance in Belgium because of dehydration and exhaustion. According to a statement released on behalf of the former Destiny’s Child star, she has been advised by her doctors to rest.

While she will be sitting out Tuesday’s concert, it is unknown whether or not she will appear at Antwerp’s Sportpaleis Arena on Wednesday.

“She is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision on the second Belgium date scheduled for May 15,” a rep for the singer told The Hollywood Reporter. “Tonight’s show will be rescheduled as soon as possible, and ticket holders should keep their tickets to be used with the rescheduled date.”

Future dates of her tour, which was named after her status as the wife of Shawn Carter, better known as his stage name Jay-Z, are not expected to be affected by this cancellation. Following Belgium, the Mrs. Carter Show tour will hit Switzerland, Italy, France, Eastern Europe and the United States. The tour will end Aug. 5 in Jay-Z’s hometown of Brooklyn.

The news of the canceled performance comes in the midst of rumors that claim the 17-time Grammy winner is pregnant with her second child. According to The New York Post, multiple sources told the newspaper after last week’s Met Gala that the singer is expecting. Countless other media outlets and blogs have claimed that Beyonce wore an outfit with a high, belted waist at the Met Gala to hide her bulging belly and are also using the singer’s recent statements that she wants more children as proof that there’s a bun in the oven.

“I think my daughter needs some company,” Beyonce told “Good Morning America” last week.
