Supermodel Kate Upton is not hooking up with rap mogul P. Diddy, according to tweets from both Upton and Diddy. However, the New York Daily News reports that the duo were seen kissing at club LIV in Miami Beach last month.

Kate seemed shocked that people would insinuate that the two were hooking up.

Diddy tweeted that he doesn’t even know Upton personally. He added that what’s being reported about the two of them is simply not true. Of course, Diddy being Diddy, the rap mogul decided that the rumor gave him the perfect opening to promote a new mixtape.

According to the Daily News, Upton joined Diddy in the VIP section of club LIV and partied to the wee hours of the morning. Later, a source confirmed to the Daily News that Diddy and Upton were having dinner together at Gemma in the Bowery Hotel.

On Valentine’s Day, Upton denied being involved with Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. After being asked about Verlander during an interview with FOX 2 Detroit, Upton said that she’s single and that she spent Valentine’s Day in Florida. Diddy, on the other hand, most famously dated singer Jennifer Lopez.

Dating Upton has been a rather popular topic lately, especially after she made her second appearance on the cover of SI’s swimsuit edition. A high schooler even worked up the courage to ask the supermodel to his high school prom. Unfortunately, Upton told the young man that she can’t find the time on her schedule to be his date.
