Kendra Wilkinson told "Splash" co-host Charissa Thompson that quitting usually isn't her style.
Former Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson has dropped out of ABC’s reality diving competition, “Splash.” According to Reality TV World, Wilkinson made the decision to quit the show during the Tuesday-night broadcast of “Splash.” By refusing to dive off the platform, Kendra was eliminated from competition; a decision that impacted her teammate, extreme skier Rory Bushfield.
Following her exit, the reality TV star tweeted that she wasn’t disappointed in herself and that she did what she could. “Diving is just not my thing,” Wilkinson added.
As would be expected, the former Playboy playmate was criticized on Twitter for quitting so early in the competition. “Damn I got a lot of hate tonight,” Wilkinson tweeted. She said that her biggest mistake was making the decision to sign up for the show.
Though she walked to the top of the 23-foot-high platform, Kendra just couldn’t face her fear of heights and summon the courage to dive off the platform. Wilkinson recently admitted to E! News that her fear of heights makes her sick to her stomach. “I start spinning, I start wanting to throw up,” she said.
Wilkinson told “Splash” co-host Charissa Thompson that quitting usually isn’t her style. “The is the first time in my life I’ve quit something,” she remarked, adding that the experience will probably haunt her for the rest of her life.
The contestants competed in teams of two during the Tuesday-night broadcast of the show. Comedian Louie Anderson paired up with NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Actress Nicole Eggert worked with soccer player Brandi Chastain (who famously ripped off her shirt to celebrate a World Cup victory) and Nickelodeon star Drake Bell teamed up with Miss Alabama USA Katherine Webb.
