Bieber hasn't been the best neighbor as of late.
TMZ reports that the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will recommend that criminal battery charges be filed against Canadian pop star Justin Bieber for allegedly spitting on a neighbor.
TMZ points out that the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will officially say that they have no recommendation yet but sources told the gossip website that investigators are quite suite about what happened during the spitting incident and much more.
TMZ reported Wednesday that Bieber’s neighbor told Sheriff’s deputies that the megastar hocked a massive loogie in his face. The neighbor had confronted Bieber about his reckless driving in the neighborhood and the conversation quickly turned into a heated argument.
According to TMZ, Bieber took his Ferrari for a spin around the exclusive community of Calabasas Tuesday morning and the neighbor says he took it up to speeds of 100 mph. Then the neighbor reportedly confronted the singer and yelled, “You can’t drive like this.” That’s when Bieber exchanged some harsh words with his neighbor and allegedly spit in his face.
Bieber hasn’t been the best neighbor as of late. The singer’s best friend forever, Lil Twist, had a “pot-fueled” party at Bieber’s mansion on March 19. According to TMZ, both alcohol and marijuana were present at the party. The party was thrown while Bieber was touring Europe.
According to the Daily Mail, this isn’t the first time that Lil Twist has gotten into trouble while using Bieber’s property. In January, the rapper caused up to $10,000 in damage to the singer’s Ferrari.
Becoming famous at a young age can be a challenge. Besides Bieber, a number of other child celebrities who became troubled young adults come to mind, including Lindsey Lohan and Amanda Bynes. Both Lohan and Bynes have had their share of legal troubles. Here’s to hoping that Bieber can pull himself together and focus on his singing career.
