Michael Buble and his wife, 24-year-old Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, are expecting their first child. The creative couple even released a homemade video announcing that they’re expecting a mini Buble.

“Mike, Lu and…mini Buble!” the video announcement reads.

According to the New York Daily News, the video also shows an ultrasound image of the baby.

“I would love to share with you this great joy with which God has blessed us and our families. Thanks to my family for joining in every second of my anxiety for wanting to tell and take care as they do every day with their love. Thanks to my friends to be as happy as me and giving me the cutest hugs. And thank God for giving me the most beautiful of joys and opportunities that a woman can have,” wrote Buble’s wife in Spanish on her Facebook page (thanks to AceShowbiz for the translation.)

According to The Associated Press, a representative for the singer confirmed that the couple are expecting their first child.

In 2011, the “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer revealed to ET Canada he wants kids but that he’s willing to wait until his Argentine wife is ready. “I’ve said to Luisana a million times I’d love to have kids,” he said. “But I always say to her when you’re ready — when you feel like you’ve lived and you’ve partied and done all the things you want to do. When you’ve worked your butt off, then tell me.” 

Before they were married, Buble worked hard to convince Luisana that he was the right guy for her. In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Jane Gordon, the Argentine actress said she first thought that Michael was gay.

“I just thought he was gay; I rang my mum and said, ‘I am at a party with Michael Buble, and he’s gay,'” Luisana said. 

She added that their first official date was dinner at her home with the whole family.

Buble is a Grammy-winning artist who has sold millions of albums worldwide. According to Celebrity Networth, the singer is worth $40 million.
