Country music superstar Taylor Swift was recently spotted holding hands with One Direction’s Harry Styles. The fact that Ms. Swift goes through boyfriends about as quick as Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt runs the 100 meters is a rather displeasing fact to One Direction’s fans and her newest critic, Eminem’s daughter.

“Dear @taylorswift13, please stop whoring around with every guy you see,” Hailie Mathers tweeted. “We all know you’re only doing it so you can make another album.”

Although she acknowledged receiving virulent criticism from Taylor’s fan base after her tweet, Ms. Mathers was neither remorseful nor apologetic when she responded to her critics late Tuesday night.

“Getting so much hate … But really couldn’t care less,” she tweeted.

Ms. Taylor’s list of arm candy is impressive even if each piece only lasts for a few months. The Huffington Post’s Stephanie Marcus provides “The Definitive Guide to Taylor Swift’s Former Boyfriends.”

Included on the list are Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Zac Efron among others.

Even though Ms. Swift seems to have no issues finding a boyfriend her problem with keeping one may originate in her carefree attitude about love.

“The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks,” she recently admitted to Rolling Stone. “It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I’ll talk myself out of it […] I have rules for a lot of areas of my life. Love is not going to be one of them.”

As harsh as her comments were, Eminem’s daughter is right about one thing: Ms. Swift likes writing songs about the guys she dates. The singer songwriter wrote “Back to December” as an apology to one of her former beaus for the breakup.

Ms. Swift told MTV News that writing about her relationships is something that she has always done.

“Well, I’ve always sort of written songs about situations in life, things that needed to be said,” she said. “I write songs about people who deserve to have songs written about them, and whatever they need to hear, whatever is the right thing to say to that person, ends up being said.”

We know with near certainty that Ms. Swift penned “Dear John” after her breakup with fellow musician John Mayer.

Having already ended things with Conor Kennedy back in October, Ms. Swift may have found it awkward to receive a humanitarian award from Conor’s dad, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the rest of the Kennedy clan on Monday. According to The New York Post, Rory and Kerry Kennedy said that Ms. Swift was “the kind of woman we want our daughters to be — authentic and mighty, willing to take a risk and strong enough to walk away.” The Post notes that Conor was not in attendance at the event.

MTV reports that One Direction fans are extremely upset that Taylor and Harry are together. Photos of Taylor and Harry, also known as “Haylor,” enjoying themselves in New York City over the weekend sparked fresh rumors that the two are dating.

Whether Haylor are in it for the long run or just the short term, One Direction’s fans are less than pleased.

“I love Taylor Swift, I love Harry,” Alana Pettus, who attended One Direction’s Madison Square Garden concert, told MTV. “But he’s mine, sorry.”

“I really like Taylor Swift as a person and Harry Styles as a person, but I don’t really like them together,” Ana Worthingston added. “If Harry’s really happy with Taylor then bravo, congratulations, whatever floats your boat.”
