Celine Dion is back in Vegas — and she’s got a big, all-new show at Caesar’s

Dion had taken a hiatus to help her husband deal with a return of the cancer he had been diagnosed with back in 1999.

Celine Dion is headed back to Las Vegas — and she’ll be back to performing after helping her husband battle cancer.

Dion took an indefinite break from her Vegas show last summer to care for her husband Rene Angelil, but she is ready to return to the stage at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum in late August with an all-new show, according to a People.com report.

The 46-year-old singer said in interviews with People and Good Morning America that it has been a “very emotional” time for her in dealing with her husband’s condition, who is being treated after his cancer returned. She also discussed her own life and her family of five.

She said she expects her emotions to grow even stronger as the “date gets closer,” according to the report.

Dion said her fans have kept her going during the difficult time, and she promised them that there will be a new show ever night, with “high, happy notes.”

Celine Dion, who hails from Quebec, Canada, first broke into stardom as a teen when her manager and future husband Angelil mortgaged his home to help finance her first record. Their sacrifices were rewarded with the release of the English-language album Unison in 1990, which established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the pop world after years of success as a French-speaking singer.

In the 1990s, she began releasing English records along with French albums. She took a hiatus in 1999 while at the height of her fame in order to spend more time with her husband when he was first diagnosed with cancer, returning in 2002 and signing a three-year deal to perform at Caesars, where she has been ever since.

She is a highly decorated artist, winning five Grammy Awards, including Album of hte Year and Record of the Year. She is also the second-best-selling female artist in the U.S. in the modern era, and she has two certified Diamond albums.
