Whitney Houston’s daughter transported to hospital after found unconscious

Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston’s daughter was found just like her mother, face down in a bathtub Saturday morning, nearly 3 years to the day that her mother was found in the bath tub the same way. Found by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend, CPR was started by Gordon and continued until the paramedics arrived at their home and took over in Roswell, Georgia.

The 21-year-old was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed to be alive and breathing. The celebrity is now in a medically induced coma due to swelling in her brain, with her father, Bobby Brown by her side. At this time, it is unclear to what caused her condition, but she is currently in the ICU and stable.

Whitney Houston, the reality TV star’s mother, was found in her hotel room by her body guard at the Beverly Hilton Hotel face down in a bath tub, dead. The American singer died in early February on a Saturday in 2012 due to an accidental drowning caused by a cocaine overdose. The movie, Whitney, about Houston was premiered on Lifetime earlier this year, focusing primarily on her drug use. Her daughter had expressed displeased feelings for the movie before the airing, but did not comment after it was shown.

Earlier this week, Brown had tweeted about how much she was still missing her mother. Brown had been extremely close to her mother, and has struggled to cope with her mother’s death. The celebrity was taken to the hospital for a panic attack the day following her mother’s death.

Brown being found in the same position that her mother was found in, takes place almost 3 years exactly after her mother had been found dead. The situation is still under investigation, although at this time it is unclear what caused the young woman to become unresponsive.
