Bruce Jenner was involved in a fatal accident in Malibu just weeks ago, but has been spotted using his phone illegally while driving twice since the accident. California law states that drivers use only hands free equipment if their phones must be used while driving.

While Bruce was allegedly not using the phone at the time of the accident, he might be charged for following too closely or not adhering to a proper speed in regards to the conditions at the time.

The accident involved four cars and included Jenner crashing into a car driven by 69 year old widow Kim Howe. Howe’s car was then pushed into oncoming traffic and she not survive the ensuing crash.

When authorities arrived on the scene Jenner was cooperative and uninjured. He mentioned that the paparazzi had been following him but that he not specifically trying to escape them at the time.

Just three days after the crash Jenner was spotted talking on a cell phone while driving, and then again this week while leaving a country club in a black Porsche.

Jenner has reportedly been struggling with accepting his involvement in the accident and has turned to his family for support through this undoubtedly challenging time.

He released a heartfelt statement following the accident.

“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time,” he said.

Sources close to the family have shared that ex wife Kris Jenner has been highly supportive through the aftermath.

“They’ve cried together about this,” begins the source. “She has told him that no matter what happens next, they’re going to face it as a family. Bruce has Kris’s full support. She’ll be there for him to lean on every step of the way.”
