It seems there is an app for nearly everything.

Now, you can add single marijuana users to the list.

A new app, called High There!, aims to connect pot smokers for dates. The app, based out of Denver, operates similar to other dating apps. It allows the user to create a profile and then sift through photos of other users. The app launch in December for beta testing before appearing the Google Play store earlier this year.

“I hated dating on other sites and apps because as soon as the idea of my cannabis consumption came up—date over,” High There! CEO Todd Mitchem said in an interview with Fast Company. “I actually walked out of a date (after paying of course) and said to myself, that’s it. Weeding out the Ms. Wrong from Ms. Right was complex. Selfishly I hope this helps others like me.”

The app comes amidst a barrage of dating apps. A number of states have already legalized marijuana and Mitchem says hopes additional states legalizing marijuana will only grow the app’s success.

For now the app is only accessible to users in states where marijuana is legal. Mitchem says the app grew out of a frustration of building friendship through dating sites. He noted that the High There! app would be useful for those who use marijuana for medical purposes, especially for cancer patients.
