A woman in Miami who was charged with DUI manslaughter in a fatal crash after testing a more than double the legal blood-alcohol level allegedly texted “Driving drunk woo” and “I’ll be dead thanks to you” to her boyfriend shortly before the deadly accident.

The crash, which happened in August 2013, happened when 22-year-old Mila Dago ran a red light and plowed into a truck driven by 51-year-old Benjamin Bynum. Although both she and Bynum survived, a passenger in Dago’s car, her friend Irina Reinoso, 22, did not survive, according to a CBS News report.

The case has gained new attention recently ebcause prosecutors released a string of text message from before hte deadly crash, with one text saying, “I’m done. You’ve ruined me. You’ll be the death of me.” Her boyfriend texted back, “What you talking about. You’re psycho. Stop weirdo.”

Apparently, the two were in the midst of a bad breakup, and Dago was visiting bars with her friends as she fired off texts to him. About three minutes after the last message, the accident happened, and her blood-alcohol level tested at .178, which is more than double the legal limit despite the fact that she was tested more than two hours after the crash.

Dago pleaded not guilty to the charges, which include DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, and two DUI counts with damage to a person. So far, there hasn’t been a trial date set.

Dago was driving in a smart car rented from Car2GO, which is a vehicle sharing company. The victim’s family is suing Car2GO, arguing that the business is being irresponsible by allowing people to rent cars at 3 in the morning after visiting bars and clubs, and that safeguards should be in place to prevent this situation.
