What was meant to be a happy Easter Sunday brunch, quickly turned into a dramatic and frightening afternoon once Tori Spelling suffered an accident and was rushed to the hospital.

Prior to the fall, a source says, “Tori had been laughing and having fun with her family at Easter brunch, when she got up to leave and tripped, falling backwards on to a scorching hot grill. She shouted out in pain from a large burn on the back of her right arm.”

The source continued to say that although it was very clear that Spelling was in pain, she was trying to keep a “brave face for the sake of her four young children who were quite obviously worried.” Her husband was worried too, but remained calm as well for the sake of the children.

After the incident, Spelling went home and tried to treat the burn on her own, but by the following day she was in such excruciating pain she decided to visit her doctor, who ordered her to immediately undergo treatment at the Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, California.

Tori’s doctor’s suggested skin grafts after seeing the burns, claiming that “risked severe infection and scarring if she didn’t act right away.”
